We hope that by spreading the message of Our Amy we can prevent further such tragedies.
We kindly ask for your donations, no matter how small, in order to help us to raise drug awareness in the local community and schools through talks and presentations. We will also advise the public about the risks of recreational drugs and the affects they can have on the individual and their family. We also continue our support of Colchester General Hospital (Colchester Hospital Charity) who were incredible in Amy’s final hours. In particular, the donations will provide funding for the Colchester Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for provisions of equipment. In September 2019 we donated £5000 to the ICU to help towards rehabilitation equipment. In total we have raised £15000 for Colchester General Hospital since August 2017.
Our Amy Foundation is based in Amy’s home town of Colchester, Essex and run entirely by the family and close friends of Amy. We have set ourselves the goal of making her proud and helping to prevent this happening to others – charity work was close to Amy’s heart and she’d want us to continue her charitable work.
